| This documentary is about The Johnsons or De Johnsons. A 1992 Dutch horror film directed by Rudolf van den Berg. It is also known under the title Xangadix. It was the last Dutch horror motion picture in the twentieth century and is considered to be one of the best Dutch horror (netherhorror) films of all time together with The Lift and Amsterdamned. Synopsis: According to an ancient Indian tale a giant monster embryo residing in a crystal is predetermined to fertilize a blue-eyed woman. She will give birth to something evil to unleash horror and destruction upon human kind. Ugly septuplet brothers reproduced within the framework of mysterious genetic experiments terrorize a young innocent girl who seems to be chosen for the sinister predestination. 25 years have gone by since the movie was released. Unfortunatly VHS and DVD releases have been sold out a long time ago. It definitely is time for a re-release of this cult classic! |
